This is the privacy policy for fieldcraftlabs.com, operated by Field Craft Labs LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("we," "us"). It describes what information this website collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The short version: this is a brochure site. There are no forms, no accounts, and no e-commerce. We use one analytics tool to count visits, and if you email us, we read your email. That's the whole operation.
1. Information We Collect
Analytics data (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand aggregate site traffic — which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which marketing channels work. Google Analytics collects this using:
- First-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_<id>) that distinguish returning browsers, with a lifetime of up to two years;
- Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, screen size, and language;
- Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, links clicked, and the site that referred you;
- Approximate location (city / region) derived from your IP address. Google Analytics does not log or store full IP addresses when collecting this data.

We use Google Analytics for measurement only. Google Signals, advertising features, demographics and interest reporting, and remarketing are not enabled, and this site is not linked to any advertising account. User- and event-level data in our Google Analytics property is retained for no longer than 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted; aggregate reports may persist beyond that window.
Email correspondence
The only way to contact us through this site is the email links to hello@fieldcraftlabs.com, which open your own mail app. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, email address, and message. We use it solely to correspond with you and conduct the business you contacted us about. We don't add you to marketing lists, and we don't share your correspondence with anyone except as needed to serve you (or as required by law).
Hosting and security logs
This site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. As the hosting and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare may process technical data — including IP addresses, request headers, and similar log information — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare's practices are described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.
Fonts and all other design assets are self-hosted and served from our own domain — loading this site makes no requests to third-party font or CDN services. Apart from Cloudflare serving the site, the only third-party request your browser makes here is to Google for the analytics described above.
2. What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not run advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
- We do not collect sensitive personal information, payment information, or biometric data.
- This site is a professional service for businesses and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Other than Google LLC, which processes the analytics data described in Section 1 on our behalf, we do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this site. With analytics configured as described — no Google Signals, no advertising features — Google Analytics data from this site is not used to build cross-site advertising profiles.
3. Who We Share Data With
Only the service providers needed to run the site, acting on our behalf:
- Google LLC — analytics processing, as described above;
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, and security.
Beyond that, we would disclose information only if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. Your Choices
- Opt out of Google Analytics everywhere by installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fully without cookies — nothing breaks if you block them.
- Ask us about your data. Email hello@fieldcraftlabs.com and we'll tell you what we have (usually: your emails to us), correct it, or delete it, subject to any legal retention obligations.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. This site does not currently respond to either signal: there is no common standard for interpreting DNT, and because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, there is no sale or sharing for a GPC signal to opt out of. The analytics described above applies to all visitors equally. If you want to prevent analytics collection, use the opt-out options in Section 4.
6. Changes to This Policy
If our data practices change — for example, if we ever add a contact form or a newsletter — we will update this policy and change the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here conspicuously. This page is the single source of truth for our privacy practices.
